BMI View: The VNI is looking precarious in the near term as domestic and global conditions are unfavourable and the index may well test short-term support at 850. The bright long-term prospects of the market should, however, serve to arrest a sharper fall of the index. Thus, our core scenario is that the index will be able to weather the current storm.
