Cambodia and North Korea have signed two agreements to assist investment and maritime transportation between the two countries. Cambodia's Information Minister Khieu Kanharith said this would help Cambodian investors tap into the mining sector in North Korea, while North Korean investors could invest in small and medium-sized hydroelectric plants in Cambodia. He added that Cambodia will also support North Korea diplomatically, including in the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement. He also reiterated Cambodia's support for the six-party talks on the Korean Peninsula, which he hopes will be unified.
