BMI View: At 5.0%, Thailand's economy expanded at a rate slightly higher than BMI's 4.8% forecast last year. This has not however, led to a revision of our GDP prediction for 2007. With Q406 GDP recording the lowest growth rate in almost two years, continuing a trend of deceleration, the economic outlook is dim.
