The forthcoming meeting between South Korean President Roh Moo Hyun and US President George W. Bush in mid-September is likely to underscore divisions between the two countries over how best to deal with North Korea's nuclear weapons programme. Other items on the agenda will include the US military presence in South Korea, and the proposed bilateral free-trade agreement.
