South Korea may drop attempts to include products made in the inter-Korean Kaesong industrial park (situated in North Korea), after a senior US official ruled out the possibility of a free trade agreement otherwise. Deputy Finance Minister Chin Dong-soo said the issue might have an 'unfavourable' impact on South Korea, and suggested resolving it through 'political or other means'.
