At least 90 people have been killed as fighting between government forces and Moro rebels entered its fifth day on the southern Philippines island of Jolo. President Gloria Arroyo has sent hundreds of troops to the island, 940km south of the capital, Manila, since February 7 when Abu Sayyaf and Moro National Liberation Front rebels ambushed a convoy of soldiers in the town of Patikul.
