The opposition Puea Thai Party formally filed a censure motion against Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and none other ministers on March 1. Broadly speaking, the opposition party is scrutinising on the government's use of force against the pro-opposition 'Red Shirt' protestors in 2010, corruption and mishandling of the administration. With elections likely to take place within H111, we expect an escalation in political tensions between the Puea Thai Party and the ruling Democrat Party. We do not rule out a reoccurrence of large-scale protests in the lead up to elections.
