Cambodia

A series of bilateral meetings between officials from Cambodia and Vietnam were held in February, with the intention of boosting cooperative ties between the two countries. Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has expressed his country's intention to develop stronger ties with Cambodia in fields such as trade, education and training, security and defence, politics and diplomacy. Cooperation in several areas such as aviation and telecommunications has made considerable progress over the past few years, and we are optimistic that further tie-ups in even more fields will be made in the coming years.
