June 2010 | Ratings UpdateSingapore and Malaysia have agreed to enhanced elements of the Points of Agreement (POA) signed in 1990 on KTM Berhad land in Singapore. Malaysia agreed to relocate its railway station in Tanjung Pagar to Woodlands in Singapore, while a joint company named M-S will be established for the development of six parcels of land in Malaysia. This can be interpreted positively in that Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak is willing to set aside longstanding differences, possibly drawing more investment from Singapore.
