CNY: Will Beijing Stick Or Twist?

We see no change in the CNY/US$ peg in the near term as China's leaders continue to err on the side of caution while the outlook for exports remains uncertain. However, we could see the CNY1-year non-deliverable forward strengthen further as expectations of a revaluation rise in line with the continued strength in EM FX.
