Environment and Water Resources Minister Yaacob Ibrahim has concluded a two-day visit to China on March 30, according to channelnewsasia. During the visit, a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed regarding water resource management. This visit was a follow through on the MOU signed in 2007 aimed at increasing bilateral cooperation in the area of urban water resources. During the two-day visit, Yaacob also visited Tianjin (the Sino-Singapore Eco city project) to check on the progress and reaffirm Singapore's commitment to the project.
