Rajapaksa Still On Track To Win Presidential Polls

We are still expecting incumbent Mahinda Rajapaksa to win another six-year term in presidential elections to be held before April 2010. However, the candidacy of General Sarath Fonseka will put pressure on Rajapaksa to run a more expansive fiscal policy to shore up support ahead of the polls.
