Trade Surplus To Narrow As Financial Inflows Continue

A greater acceleration of imports relative to exports should see Taiwan's trade surplus fall over the coming years, helping to narrow the current account surplus. However, as the financial account flips from a deficit to a surplus, this should see currency strength and international reserve growth continue apace.
