Mainland Demand Fuels Export Bounce
November 2009 | Ratings UpdateTaiwan's exports were up 3.9% q-o-q to US$19.82bn in October. As the third consecutive month showing an increase in exports, this news is suggestive of a strong economic recovery for Taiwan. However, while rebounding exports are obviously good for Taiwan's economic outlook, excessive optimism must be cautioned against.
