Cambodia is estimated to have grown by 6% in 2003. Rapidly expanding trade with Vietnam, high levels of development aid, and increasing levels of foreign direct investment are the main drivers of growth at present. The economy is likely to receive a further boost when the country finally joins the WTO. Cambodia however remains vulnerable to a slowdown in its textile exports, which combined account 80% of Cambodia's total exports.
