Ma Delivering On Cross-Strait Promises
July 2008 | Market StrategyBMI View: President Ma Ying-jeou's administration has taken a number of bold steps to improve cross-strait ties of late, to the chagrin of the pro-independence opposition. Although the real effects of Ma's liberal mainland policy will take some time to feed through, there is little doubt that it will help boost the performance of the Taiwanese economy over the medium to long term.
