September 2007 | Macroeconomic ForecastsConsumer price inflation in Cambodia rose 5.78% y-o-y in July, accelerating sharply from 4.06% in June, driven largely by double digit food price growth. Food inflation slowed markedly throughout 2006, and overall consumer price growth moderated accordingly, but July's uptick in food prices now threatens higher prices for consumers in H207.
