BMI View: The Taiwanese economy expanded by 4.15% y-o-y in Q107, rebounding from a revised 4.04% in Q406. Despite signs of a moderate recovery in domestic demand, however, the economy remains dependent on the resilient external sector and therefore vulnerable to external risks. As such, despite our expectations that growth will pick up in H207, we continue to project that full-year growth will come in below the 4.68% posted in 2006.
