The ASEAN Federation of Mining Associations (AFMA) has said that it expects the Philippines to account for the majority of the anticipated three-fold growth in ASEAN export revenues over the next three years. This is yet another feather in the cap of Arroyo, who for some time now has been actively trying to expand the underdeveloped sector.
