Opposition Leading The Polls

A recent poll carried out by the private social research institution Social Weather Stations has revealed that opposition candidates are ahead of their pro-administration counterparts in the race for the upcoming congressional elections, scheduled to be held on May 14. The results of the poll, the first major survey of voters' preferences for the lower house, showed that 36% would vote for an opposition candidate for representative, while 28% would vote for an administration candidate and 26% for an independent
