February 2007 | Macroeconomic ForecastsBMI View: Although the new caretaker government, backed by the military, appears to have restored a degree of confidence, we believe that the government's and central bank's growth forecast of 7.0% is too optimistic, given the political uncertainties ahead. We more conservatively forecast 6.0% growth in FY06/07.
