Musharraf Paid A Visit
February 2007 | Risk SummaryUS Defence Secretary Robert Gates visited Islamabad in mid-February to meet with President Pervez Musharraf. The meeting was important, given the recent pressure on Musharraf to prevent the Taliban from operating on Pakistan's soil (see Potential Pitfall For President).
