Bomb Scare

Two grenade blasts that wounded four soldiers across the border from a Thai military post in January were an accident and not an attack by unknown assailants as was earlier claimed, according to the Malaysian army. The armed forces said that it would investigate the reasons why the head of the border post filed a contradictory report. Muhammed Ismail initially said a group of unidentified people hurled two grenades at his camp before disappearing, and dismissed the Thai military version of the incident, which concluded that the event was a training exercise accident. The event follows security scares in Thailand,
