President Susilo Bambang Yudhyono met with Aceh Governor-elect Irwandi Yusuf - a former Free Aceh Movement (GAM) rebel who won the region's first direct elections in December - to discuss the future of the territory, emphasising the need to create jobs in the tsunami-hit region. Yusuf faces plenty of challenges ahead when he assumes office in early February. Apart from generating employment, the governor will be tasked with rebuilding the territory's battered infrastructure.
