Vietnam has charged three US citizens and four Vietnamese with plotting against the government. One of the accused, Thuong Nguyen Foshee, is a resident of Florida, and her daughter, herself an Orlando attorney, has protested that while her mother was active on Vietnam's pro-democracy movement, she was not plotting against the government.
