BMI View: Taiwan's growth remains lopsided, with the ongoing political uncertainty constraining domestic demand, leaving the economy reliant on the external sector. As such, we acknowledge downside risks to our forecast for 4.5% growth in 2006, but will await data for Q306 before altering our growth projections.
