Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and former-prime minister Lee Kuan Yew have filed a defamation suit against the Far Eastern Economic Review, following its publication of an interview with the leader of the opposition Singapore Democratic Party, Chee Soon Juan. They argue that the article accuses them of being corrupt. The FEER denies that the article can be interpreted in this way.
