Pakistan's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam said that her government will take action if offered proof that the military's Inter-Services Intelligence and the Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group were behind the July 7 bombings in Mumbai. Peace talks between the two countries, which President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh agreed to resume last month, may recommence in late October she added. The talks had been cancelled after the July attacks, but Aslam has said that ideas on a new schedule is being discussed, with a review meeting anytime after Ramadan, which ends on October
