Worsening External Position
October 2006 | Economic OutlookBMI View: South Korea's current account balance continues to deteriorate, and has been in negative territory for most of 2006. This has come on the back of a declining trade surplus, as won strength and persistent high oil prices have put pressure on the trade balance.
