Island Dispute Continues

South Korea and Japan made no real progress during two days of talks intended to settle the territorial dispute involving deserted islands claimed by both countries. The talks addressed claims for economic exclusion zones around the islands, which sit among rich fishing grounds and above what South Korea claims could be billions of dollars worth of gas hydrate deposits.
