An opposition candidate for the Singapore Democratic Party, Chee Siok Chin, has submitted an application to the high court, asking that the results of May's general elections by declared null and void. She alleges that the threats of neglecting housing in opposition constituencies and the hand-outs before the elections are tantamount to bribery and censorship, contravening the Parliamentary Elections Act.
