March 2004 | Economic AnalysisIndonesian interest rates will fall further during the coming months as part of the central bank's efforts to spur bank lending to corporate borrowers. BMI View: The central bank must proceed cautiously as lowering interest rates too sharply could weaken Indonesia's external payments position.
