BMI View: Following the annulment of the April 2 snap election, Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra's ruling Thai Rak Thai (TRT) party, along with the main opposition Democrat Party, have been found guilty of breaking Thailand's electoral law and are facing possible disbandment. With the future of Thailand's two main political parties in doubt, hopes for a legitimate election on October 15 that will resolve the current uncertainty are declining.
