November 2005 | Risk SummaryCambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has taken to court a number of his critics of a border deal that was recently signed between Cambodia and Vietnam. The prime minister decided to take six people to court, including the director of a private radio station, after suggestions that Hun Sen was surrendering Cambodian land to Vietnam. Hun Sen was once foreign minister of a Vietnamese-installed government in Cambodia, before becoming prime minister in 1985. Border issues remain a passionate issue for many Cambodians, who have seen the size of their country become smaller after being taken over by its larger neighbours,
