July 2005 | Macroeconomic ForecastsCambodia is forecast by BMI to grow by 4.0% in 2005, up from our earlier forecast of 2.5%. Our revision follows the recent increase in Cambodia's growth forecast by the IMF, which said that growth in the country should hold up better than previously expected this year, due to stronger growth in tourism, construction and the textile sector. Cambodia's important textile sector had been expected to suffer following the expiry of textile quotas at the start of the year
