July 2005 | Risk SummaryA two-year-old Canadian boy was killed at an international school in Cambodian city of Siem Reap, after a gunman took dozens of pupils and teachers hostage in the middle of June. Police ended the siege after storming the school in Siem Reap, near the tourist site of Angkor Wat. Police have since arrested four captors who had demanded US$1,000, arms, and a vehicle to take them to Thailand. The other children, who came from countries all over the world, including the US, UK, and the rest of Asia, were freed after the attackers were caught. The town of Siem Reap
