March 2005 | Political Risk AnalysisCambodia's domestic politics were thrown into turmoil after Prime Minister Hun Sen stripped opposition leader Sam Rainsy of his parliamentary immunity, forcing Sam Rainsy to flee the country. BMI View: So far the prime minister has shown no signs of backing down, although pressure from the international community and Cambodia's main donors may force Hun Sen into a compromise.
