Cambodia is forecast by BMI to grow by 5.5% in 2004. Among the sectors set to drive growth are textile, tourism and construction. Cambodia should also benefit from the continuing strong growth of its major trading partners: Thailand, Vietnam and China. However, a hard landing for China, which would probably lead to a regional economic slowdown, would have serious repercussions for Cambodia.
