One of Vietnam's most notorious gangsters has been executed along with four of his men after being found guilty of bribery and murder. Truong Van Cam, better known as Nam Cam, was sentenced to death last June, after being convicted of ordering the death of underworld rivals and also bribing state officials. Several senior officials were among those tried with the gang, including a former head of state radio who had been a member of the ruling Communist Party's powerful central committee.
