Hunt For Bombers

Bangladeshi police are hunting about 2,000 potential suicide bombers in the country after the killing of two judges in November. The country has been hit by a wave of bombings recently, and police have stepped up the nationwide hunt for militants after the death of the judges. The police has acknowledged for the first time the presence of home-grown suicide bombers. Lawyers have already boycotted courts in protest at the killings, and further bombings would disrupt not only the country’s judicial system but also foreign investment flows.
