Bangladeshi police are hunting about 2,000 potential suicide bombers in the country after the killing of two judges in November. The country has been hit by a wave of bombings recently, but police have stepped up the nationwide hunt for militants after the death of the judges, acknowledging for the first time the presence of home-grown suicide bombers. Islamic militants have threatened more attacks in Bangladesh, the world’s third most populous Muslim nation, demanding the introduction of Islamic law in the democratic country.
