February 2004 | Risk SummaryIndia and Pakistan have agreed a ?basic roadmap? to peace following their first such talks in three years. According to the roadmap, the two countries? foreign secretaries will meet in May or June to discuss their outstanding differences, including Kashmir ? the divided Himalayan province that has led to two of their three wars. Also included on the agenda are terrorism and drug trafficking. Tension between the two nuclear-armed neighbours has been easing since April last year.
