BMI View: North Korea's failed long-range missile test shows that its weapons technology may not be as far advanced as the regime's grandiose ambitions. Despite growing international pressure, Pyongyang is unlikely to give up its nuclear weapons, and will likely accelerate its missile programme after the failed test.
