February 2006 | Macroeconomic ForecastsOur growth forecast for 2005 has increased to 7.0%, compared with our previous forecast of 6.7%. The increase was made after the government reported the Hong Kong economy grew by an impressive 8.2% y-o-y in the third quarter. Growth is forecast to slow in 2006 to 6.5%, as China's economy experiences a gradual slowdown
