December 2005 | Macroeconomic ForecastsWe believe that Taiwan’s economy will grow by 3.7% in 2005, and by 4.0% in 2006. Our forecast for 2005 has been increased from last month after new data showed the economy grew by a faster-than-expected 4.4% y-o-y in the third quarter, bringing growth for the first nine months of 2005 to 3.3%.
