Interest Rates To Rise As Inflation Increases

Inflationary pressures in Taiwan are building. The consumer price index (CPI) in September was up by 3.1% y-o-y, making it the fifth consecutive month where inflation has been above 2.3%. It also brought the average inflation rate for the first nine months of the year to 2.2%.
