Beijing Decides On Two-Year Term For Next Chief Executive

Beijing has ruled that Hong Kong's next chief executive, set to be named on July 10, will serve for only two years. BMI View: The controversial ruling is the third time that China has taken it upon itself to determine parts of Hong Kong's Basic Law, amid concern that Hong Kong's independence is being threatened by China's interference.
