BMI has maintained its growth estimates for 2004 and 2005 at 7.5% and 5.0% respectively. The healthy outlook follows the publication of Q3 GDP data which showed growth in Hong Kong slowing to 7.2% y-o-y, compared with 12.1% in the second quarter, when the economy benefited from a SARS-induced base effect.
