January 2012 | Ratings UpdateStability on the Korean Peninsula has been called into question following the death of North Korea's dictator Kim Jong Il. Although his son Kim Jong Un appears to be taking over, the younger Kim has very little political experience to run what is one of the world's most troubled countries. We therefore see a high possibility that he will be a mere figurehead, with real power wielded by the military.
