Qadhafi's Death Likely To Harden Pyongyang's Stance

BMI View: The violent death of former Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi is likely to have sent shockwaves through Pyongyang, and these will only reinforce the regime's hardline policy towards the South and the US. Although North Korea does not face an imminent uprising, we do not preclude such a scenario over the coming years, and warn that if regime change comes, it could be more deadly than in Libya.
